Crazy Crafters April Blog Hop - Masculine

Hello and welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop! I will be hosting this months blog, which I can't believe is for APRIL already!! This months theme is Masculine!

The idea of our blog hop is to showcase the work of the very talented members of our team, lead by our awesome leader, Kylie Bertucci, who is actually next up on our hop. We'd love for you to leave us comments on what you thought of our works.

Enjoy your journey through this months blog hop! There is a list towards the bottom of my post with the blog hop list, in case you get lost anywhere!

I don't know about you, but I always struggle to come up with creative and different ideas for cards to suit the male 'species' LOL. I think I created a couple of hundred cards (okay, perhaps a slight exaggeration.....?) and settled on these three!

Here they are individually... I have put a section of all the supplies used to make these cards. If you click on the picture of an item, it will take you straight to my online store!

The first one I saw on Pinterest and wanted to give it a try, with a few things changed up. Quite a few men in my life are into fishing so its a natural choice for me to do a type of sea theme! This stamp set is one of my favourite male themed stamp sets. Its called "By The Tide" and has a very cute seahorse included in it too.

The next one is one of my favourites. I wanted to try some different techniques and one I really liked was stamping the ink pad straight onto one side of the embossing folder, before putting your card stock in and running it through your embossing machine. I really liked how it turned out for something a bit more grungy.

The last one I also CASED off Pinterest. I loved the idea of tearing the card stock to create the ocean floor, with a bit of sponging. The fish are mounted with dimensionals and the lower one is embossed with pewter embossing powder.

I hope you've liked my cards I've shown you. Maybe it'll inspire you to give some techniques a try that perhaps you've never seen before or done before.

Enjoy your journey through this months blog hop. I know everyone has put so much effort into creating something awesome, I can't wait to see what they've been up to!!

Until next time, happy crafting!!

Nicole xx
