Crazy Crafters November Blog Hop - Most Used Stamp Set

Well Hello! Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop for November! This month we are excited to show off projects made with our most-used stamp set. We hope you find great inspiration for all the beautiful projects.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Nicole Spicer - or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup at the end will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Nicole Spicer.

This has been a very weekend for the Crazy Crafters team! Yesterday I went to the very first On Stage global event for Stampin' Up! It was AMAZING!! It was also my very first Stampin' Up! event so I was so excited!! I have come away from it absolutely inspired! So much so, that when I got home at 10pm, I started re-doing my blog hop card! In fact, this morning I made another 3!

I have used two stamp sets, Lighthearted Leaves and Tin of Cards for the sentiment. I love both of these sets. The Lighthearted leaves stamp set has matching dies so you can whiz them through the Big Shot to save SO much time. No fussy cutting here! All the supplies I've used will be at the end of my post.

So here are my cards. I have also done some minor stamping on the inside of each card so I'll include a smaller pic of that too.

The first card I created I wanted to be really simple. So I have included one of the leaves from the Lighthearted Leaves and stamped it in opposite directions onto Very Vanilla cardtock. The sentiment I have used in all my cards is the Happy Birthday from the Tin of Cards stamp set. I stamped this in Tangerine Tango onto Very Vanilla and cut this out plus a mat piece from the Lots of Labels framelits dies. I then wrapped around some thick bakers twine across the middle and popped the sentiment up with dimensionals.

To make my next card, I created some DSP of my own by stamping the different leaves onto Whisper White cardstock in Rich Razzleberry, Hello Honey, Cajun Craze, Garden Green and Crumb Cake. I then trimmed a piece to adhere to my Crumb Cake cardstock and then adhered that to my Cajun Craze card base. The sentiment is also stamped in Cajun Craze.

The third card I've made is a little more involved, but still very easy to create! Firstly I stamped the leaf in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and coloured it in using Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie markers. These are all from the Brights collection, and you can purchase all the Brights collection Stampin' Write markers together in one pack. I cut it out with my Big Shot using the matching framelit - love that timesaver! I also embossed my Pumpkin Pie piece with the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and layered that on my Soft Suede cardbase. The tag was punched with the Triple Banner Punch on the largest size. I love this punch too!! I used the 1 1/4" Burlap trim to add a more masculine touch.

The final card I've made uses the Whisper White random stamped leaf design I made for my 2nd card. I just wanted to use a little bit to contrast. I embossed the Crumb Cake piece with the Woodgrain TIEF and layered it on my Garden Green card base. The leaves were stamped with matching ink and paper, in Garden Green, Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake and Tangerine Tango. For something different, I have used the Tags & Labels Framelit dies. Aren't they just awesome. The set comes in two shapes in so many sizes. Just perfect for these medium-sized sentiments.

Well I hope you've enjoyed my cards today. I had a lot of fun creating them! To stay on track with the blog hop, please click on the name after me, Nicole Spicer.
